Åsa Kornfeld has over 25 years’ international experience in the fields of strategic pricing, market access and value demonstration for candidate-drug development. She began her career in clinical research before focusing on healthcare economics, pricing and reimbursement. Her experience covers the whole process, from the initial phases of development as far as negotiations with Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies and payers.  She has worked for major pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies and consultancies. In particular, she held positions as Pricing and Market Access Manager at Lundbeck, Pricing and Market Access Lead at Recordati Rare Diseases and Vice President at Creativ-ceutical. Åsa has a BSc in chemistry from Lund University and a masters in pharmaceutical and healthcare products from Bordeaux University. She currently acts as an independent consultant and a board member for various companies.
